The Tales we tell ourselves and sell to the World about the events that have constructed the reality of our lives is what holds us hostage.
We all have a Story. Its plot we use as leverage; as currency to negotiate the terms of our relationships with the Others that dwell alongside us on our pathways.
Oh, but it is a mere misconstruction of mystery that resides here in the twilight world of the details of our wounding... glowing embers casting grotesque shadows on the iron fists that hold us trapped in patterns endlessly regurgitated and served up disguised as new experiences.
We cling fast to our stories because they are familiar. We return time and once again to heartbreak, loss, fear and abuse because they are so comfortably familiar to our psyche. We feel so lost without the details imprinted upon the macabre mire of our subconscious minds, that our greatest fear becomes letting go of that which defines us.
Who will we be? Who, indeed, will we be without our Stories?
Those experiences so 312-50v8 Exam Questions hard-earned; that inner wounding forged so deeply by abandonment, harsh words and ego-obliterating criticism together have become the agents of our imprisonment. These emotional shape-shifters feed like hungry refugees on our insecurities - wreaking devastating havoc upon external events and turning our attempts at relating to begging lepers at the gates of Enlightenment.
Left to their mercy, we project the details of our wounding onto others. We react. We do not respond. We beat our chests as we painstakingly create one drama after another in our lives.
Our need for drama becomes more important than friendship; than love; even than peace. We self-righteously assume the worst about the intentions of another and then we harshly chastise them with lavish lashings of our tongues - tearing their eyes out so that nothing of the inner beauty that dwells within their hearts remains remotely visible to us.
We swiftly forget the Love once lavished upon us and the Good another brought to our lives in the 7004 Exam Questions past - turning Angels into Demons in one foul swoop.
So cloaked are we in shadow, that an-other's Light frightens the bejeesus out of us.
As our Űber mother Gaia completes another one year cycle of birth and death, I wonder if we shall seize this opportunity to release our attachments to our Stories?
What an enchanting world would it be, if we could begin a new beginning in every second of every day, remembering - always remembering - that people around us are not defined by our pasts. Nor are they defined by the pernickety intricacies of their own past actions, words or complications.
How effortlessly we discard the Beauty of their Innocence.
Yet, we all are a million different people from one day to the next.As we accept what has gone before, may we collectively drop those delicate boxes made of glass that hold our preconceived notions of our perceived characteristics of the Others. Smashing to the ground, may they release the fears holding us trapped in smallness into the ethers of oblivion.
May we cease expecting of another to make themselves less so that we may be more.
Standing in the Majestic Power of Self-Love, may we never accept anything within our periphery that wants us to remain small. May we discard all that which does not benefit the Light that shines forever forth from the source of our Divinity. May we embrace all that makes us blossom like delicate blooms 'neath the gentle kiss of the morning sun.
May we lay those burdens down that do not belong to us. We are not our brothers' keepers.
Casting off the cloaks of our maddening minds, we are called forth to bear the torches of Light into this New Year.
The time has come for us to shine.
